Seattle Parks and Recreations Program Discounts

Save 50-90% on many Parks and Recreation programs for all ages from Spring 2024 through Spring 2025

Seattle Parks and Recreation has scholarships available to individuals and families for programs and activities. Scholarships may provide a 50-90% discount on program fees when funds are available. Eligibility is determined by family size and income. You will be asked to provide proof of income and proof of dependents (if there are children under 18 in the household).

Seattle Parks and Recreation discounts are valid for services through Spring 2026 when funds are available for qualified customers.

Note: If you applied and are currently eligible for the 2024/2025 scholarships, there is no need to reapply until early 2026 as your eligibility for recreation activities has been extended for an additional year for services through Spring 2026.

Childcare subsidy requests require an additional step from this application. The childcare request form/link will be emailed and available to eligible households prior to registration dates.

Eligibility is for services through Spring 2026. If you are eligible for 2024/2025 scholarship you do not need to reapply until early 2026 as qualification has been extended to Spring 2026.

You will need the following information and documents to complete the form;

NOTE: it may take up to 20 minutes to complete the form.

All household members’ names, birthdates, genders, and ethnicities

Proof of income for all household members who are 18 years and older (signed, current year 1040 income tax return or approved alternative)

If dependents are not listed on your 1040 income tax return, provide a copy of their birth certificate
